Goro conveyor
Australian Rollforming Manufacturers supplied five kilometres of conveyor frames to the Goro nickel mine site in New Caledonia.
Five kilometres of conveyor sections were roll formed from high tensile galvanised steel coil in Australian Rollforming Manufacturers’ factory in Dandenong, Victoria.
Each channel section was pre-punched and incorporated a stiffened top lip and plain bottom flange to minimise moisture and dirt retention.
After punching and rollforming, the frames, along with the fasteners, mounting bolts and brackets, were assembled in modules. The modules were supplied as a complete package, resulting in significant savings in terms of transport costs, handling and on-site erection costs.
Seventeen container loads of pre-assembled modules were delivered on time to the mine site, against a very demanding delivery schedule.
Australian Rollforming Manufacturers are custom metal rollforming specialists, with the capability to rollform an almost infinite number of profiles in a wide range of metals.
